OOJEE is an independent service provider, allowing European seafood buyers to purchase directly from fresh fish producers anywhere in the world. None of the producers, buyers, transport partners or other customers or suppliers to OOJEE has either ownership or management power in OOJEE.
Buyers register free of charge and purchase fresh seafood on the auctions and catalogues of producers. Transport of the goods, as selected by the buyer, is arranged by OOJEE using logistical services of selected transport partners. The buyers receive an invoice from OOJEE for their products and transport and pay their purchase invoices to OOJEE.
Producers register free of charge and go through a selection procedure with OOJEE. Then they list their products on the catalogues and auctions. All sales are invoiced to OOJEE with payment guaranteed.
The identity of the buyer is hidden to other buyers. Only with specific prior consent of the buyer can it be revealed to a producer, for example in order to help build a long-lasting relationship through OOJEE between the buyer and their producers.

Logistics
OOJEE delivers the fresh seafood to a destination of your choice in Europe, using transport services of several logistic partners in Europe. Reliability is the main goal, which means that the goods arrive to you on time and in good order.
You can choose for your products to be delivered to your own destination (for example your own coldstore) or to any of the major logistic hubs in Europe from where you can then arrange your own transport. This choice is available for every purchase you make.
Purchasing with OOJEE, your company can benefit greatly even if the quantity of each delivery is not big. By combining orders from several buyers for each transport from the producers, OOJEE helps you to enjoy the benefits of scale and still purchase lower quantities than otherwise needed.
OOJEE does not impose any minimum purchase quantity. Instead we help you reach optimum transport cost per kg. You will see the transport cost before you finish each purchase on OOJEE and can evaluate whether to add some products to your delivery to reduce your transport cost per kg. As a simple rule of thumb, you will benefit more by adjusting quantity to complete pallets of each product.
